Attention NYC Employers – New Workers’ Bill of Rights Posting Requirements

If you have any questions regarding the employment law updates discussed in this alert, please contact a member of the HDRB&B Employment Group.

Staying ahead means staying informed.

Starting July 1, 2024, New York City employers will be required to notify their employees about the updated Workers’ Bill of Rights and post it in a conspicuous place.

The updates to the Bill of Rights itself are still being prepared by the City, and they are scheduled to be made available online no later than March 1, 2024. According to the NYC Council, the Workers’ Bill of Rights is aimed at informing employees, regardless of immigration status, of their rights under federal, state, and NYC laws.
