Richard M. Rosa, now retired, devoted his practice to representing clients in both the private and public sector. For more than 40 years, he skillfully litigated matters involving personal injury, construction and criminal defense, and commercial and real estate transactions. Prior to joining HDRB&B, Richard was a Partner at Pisarri, McEnroe & Careri, where he focused on commercial litigation, construction litigation, personal injury, employment matters and criminal defense. He successfully tried cases in New Jersey, New York and the U.S. District Courts.
A former Bergen County Assistant Prosecutor, Richard served as Chief of the Grand Jury and Organized Crime Sections. He also served as Bergen County’s representative on the statewide committee of prosecutors who formulated New Jersey’s Criminal Code Title 2C and was a Municipal Prosecutor in New Jersey. Richard leveraged his experiences in the public sector and his many years in private practice to formulate the best possible strategy for each client.
During his career, Richard served on numerous Bergen County Bar Association Committees including the Judicial Selection Committee. He has been a member of the Bergen County Bar Association, the State of New Jersey Bar Association and the American Bar Association. Richard has also been actively involved in the New Jersey High School Mock Trial Competition and served as legal advisor to the State Championship high school team in 1994.
