Bergen’s Top Lawyers peer review survey is published annually by (201) Magazine. In the survey, conducted by Professional Research Services, attorneys throughout Bergen County are contacted and asked who they would recommend within the country in given areas of law. Via an online ballot, each attorney was allowed to recommend up to three colleagues in each given legal specialty; attorneys who received the highest number of votes in each specialty are listed.
For Bergen Magazine, DataJoe Research of Fort Collins, Colorado, a software and research company specializing in data collection and verification, conducted a peer-review survey of more than 3,500 lawyers across Bergen County. Recipients were asked to provide information on which attorneys (other than themselves) they considered the best, across dozens of specialties.
