Kurt Hartmann is the Chair HDRB&B’s Real Estate Department and represents institutional and individual clients in a wide range of real estate, corporate and general commercial matters in New Jersey and New York.

Leveraging more than 30 years as a trusted advisor, Mr. Hartmann serves as outside general counsel to a number of businesses, including real estate developers, real estate owners and managers, hotels, financial institutions, and construction companies. He has a broad range of experience in commercial finance, representing both lenders and borrowers with respect to all forms of financing. Mr. Hartmann is frequently called upon to act as an expert witness in litigations involving real estate transactions and complex title issues.

Prior to founding HDRB&B, Mr. Hartmann maintained his own law practice, specializing in corporate and real estate transactions. From 1994 -1996, Mr. Hartmann was a research analyst with Transnational Research Corporation, an international political and economic consulting firm.
