Julie A. Rich is an Associate in HDRB&B’s Matrimonial and Family Law Department. Julie focuses her practice on family and matrimonial law matters including divorces, custody disputes, child support, and domestic violence. Julie represents clients in their family and matrimonial law matters in New Jersey and New York.
Upon graduating from Seton Hall University School of Law, Julie served as a Judicial Law Clerk to the Honorable Marcia L. Silva, J.S.C. in the Superior Court of New Jersey, Middlesex County, Family Part. Following her clerkship, Julie joined Faith A. Ullmann & Associates, LLC as a family law Associate. Prior to joining HDRB&B in 2018, Julie practiced with Townsend, Tomaio & Newmark, LLC as a family law Associate.
Julie received her Bachelor of Arts in History and a minor in Religion in Society, magna cum laude, from Syracuse University. She received her J.D. from Seton Hall University School of Law. While at Seton Hall, Julie interned with the Essex-Newark Legal Services Family Law Unit. She also served as Treasurer and Secretary to the Women’s Law Society, and President to the Family Law Society. In her third year of law school, Julie was chosen to act as a student attorney within Seton Hall’s Center for Social Justice, Family Law Clinic representing indigent clients. She was also awarded a scholarship from the prestigious American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers.
When not practicing law, Julie can often be found watching or attending Yankee games. She is a huge baseball fan and hopes to someday visit every Major League Baseball stadium in the United States.
