Richard M. Rosa heads our personal injury, construction and criminal defense practices and is also actively involved in our commercial and real estate practices. Prior to joining Hartmann, Doherty, Rosa, Berman & Bulbilia, Mr. Rosa was a partner with the law firm of Pisarri, McEnroe & Careri, where he focused on commercial litigation, construction litigation, personal injury, employment matters and criminal defense. Mr. Rosa has successfully tried cases in New Jersey, New York and the U.S. District Courts. He has the highest (AV) rating from Martindale-Hubbell.

Mr. Rosa is a former Bergen County Assistant Prosecutor and has served as Chief of the Grand Jury and Organized Crime Sections. He also served as Bergen County’s representative on the statewide committee of prosecutors who formulated New Jersey’s Criminal Code Title 2C. Mr. Rosa is currently a municipal prosecutor in New Jersey. Mr. Rosa is able to draw upon his experiences in the public sector as well as upon his many years in private practice to formulate the best possible strategy for our clients.

During his career, Mr. Rosa, has served on numerous Bergen County Bar Association Committees including the Judicial Selection Committee. Mr. Rosa is a member of the Bergen County Bar Association, the State of New Jersey Bar Association and the American Bar Association. Mr. Rosa has also been actively involved in the New Jersey High School Mock Trial Competition and served as legal advisor to the state championship high school team in 1994.
