We are excited to announce that Suzanne E. Cevasco has joined HDRB&B as a Partner in our Criminal Defense and Litigation Departments. A former Assistant Prosecutor in the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office Major Crimes Unit, Suzanne has over a decade of experience handling complex, high-stakes cases and investigations.
Suzanne has successfully investigated over 100 homicide, arson, and fatal accident cases and prosecuted numerous cases through jury trial. In addition, she has also handled appeals before the New Jersey Supreme Court and Appellate Division. She excels in trial preparation, effectively synthesizing and presenting complex physical and technological evidence to build compelling cases for her clients. Known for her quick thinking and her ability to pivot swiftly, she believes that thorough preparation and meticulous attention to detail are crucial for achieving favorable outcomes in the courtroom. Her unique vantage point, with experience on both prosecution and defense sides, enhances her ability to anticipate opposing counsel’s tactics. Known for her honesty, empathy, and assertive, yet respectful, courtroom tactics, Suzanne is committed to her clients and always makes sure they are fully informed and supported.
Suzanne will concentrate her practice at HDRB&B on criminal defense and a wide range of civil matters including business litigation and employment litigation.
Suzanne holds a Juris Doctor, cum laude, from Seton Hall University School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts in History, cum laude, from The College of New Jersey. Suzanne clerked for The Honorable Mary Catherine Cuff, P.J.A.D., Supreme Court of New Jersey and The Honorable Carmen Messano, P.J.A.D., Superior Court of New Jersey, Appellate Division.
