Katarina L. Guelpen is an Associate in HDRB&B’s Matrimonial & Family Law Department. Katarina represents clients in a wide range of family law matters, including divorce, custody and parenting time, child support, alimony, and post-judgment issues.
Before joining HDRB&B, Katarina served as a Judicial Law Clerk to the Honorable Jane Gallina-Mecca, P.J.F.P., in the Superior Court of New Jersey, Family Division, in Bergen County where she worked closely on pre- and post-judgment matrimonial matters, facilitated mediations, and drafted court orders and opinions across a range of family law issues. She also served as a Judicial Intern to the Honorable Gregg A. Padovano, J.S.C. Through her work at the Rutgers Child Advocacy Clinic and her internship with the Office of the Public Defender Law Guardian, she recognized her interest in building a career in family law.
Katarina earned her J.D. from Rutgers Law School, where she received certificates in Family Law and Immigration Law and held leadership roles including President of the International Law Society and Symposium Editor for the Rutgers International Law and Human Rights Journal. She earned dual B.A. degrees in International Studies and Political Science from the University of Michigan.
