Gabrielle J. Canaie Joins Employment Department

Gabrielle J. Canaie | Labor & Employment Associate

We are excited to announce that Gabrielle Canaie has joined Hartmann Doherty Rosa Berman & Bulbulia LLP as an Associate in HDRB&B’s Labor & Employment Department, where she advises employers and individuals on a broad spectrum of workplace issues. Her practice includes counseling clients on employee discipline, workplace investigations, performance management, and compliance with federal and state employment laws, including the FMLA, ADA, wage and hour regulations, and anti-discrimination statutes.

She drafts and negotiates employment and separation agreements, restrictive covenants, and employee handbooks, and provides strategic guidance on matters such as hiring, termination, and employee classification.

Prior to joining HDRB&B, Gabrielle practiced at several New Jersey law firms, where she supported both public and private sector clients in employment litigation and counseling matters.

Gabrielle serves on the Executive Committee of the New Jersey State Bar Association’s Young Lawyers Division and as a Director of the Asian Pacific American Lawyers Association of New Jersey. She is also a member of the Hispanic Bar Association and the South Asian Bar Association of New Jersey. Gabrielle has been recognized as a Rising Star by New Jersey Super Lawyers® and is a frequent speaker on topics including litigation, diversity, equity, and inclusion.
