We are excited to announce that Michele-Lee Shapiro has joined Hartmann Doherty Rosa Berman & Bulbulia LLP as a Partner in HDRB&B’s Commercial Litigation and Trusts and Estates Litigation departments.
Michele-Lee is a highly skilled litigator with vast experience representing individuals and organizations in complex civil matters. Her practice spans corporate divorce, contract and antitrust disputes, e-commerce conflicts, and fraud and consumer fraud claims. She also brings extensive appellate experience, providing clients with strategic insight at every stage of a case.

Before joining HDRB&B, Michele-Lee practiced at Brown Moskowitz & Kallen, P.C., and Sills Cummis & Gross P.C. She also served as an Assistant Prosecutor in the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office and clerked for the late Hon. Herman D. Michels, then Presiding Judge of the Appellate Division of the Superior Court of New Jersey.
In addition to her legal practice, Michele-Lee has long been involved in mentoring the next generation of lawyers. She has taught Legal Research and Writing as an Adjunct Professor at Seton Hall Law School and continues to advise law students and young attorneys. Drawing on her participation in her family’s successful performing arts business, she also brings unique insight into the challenges facing small businesses and the need for cost-conscious, effective counsel.
