Karen J. Krause is a Partner in HDRB&B’s Private Lending Group. An experienced transactional attorney formerly specializing in M&A and securities law, Karen began practicing real estate law in 2014 and joined HDRBB in September 2016.

Karen represents private lenders in real estate secured transactions, including acquisition and construction loans, in New Jersey and Pennsylvania. She has closed hundreds of commercial loans involving the acquisition and/or renovation of properties ranging from single-family homes to small apartment buildings and commercial facilities. She is dedicated to providing her clients with the speed, accuracy and creative problem solving demanded by the fast-paced private lending industry.

Karen previously practiced corporate law at Sills Cummis & Gross P.C. and Baer Marks & Upham LLP, where she represented small and mid-sized companies in public offerings, private placements, securities law compliance, mergers and acquisitions, and a wide variety of contracts and general corporate matters.
