Kristi M. Intorre is an Associate in HDRB&B’s Matrimonial and Family Law Department.
She specializes in matters involving custody and parenting time, child support, equitable
distribution, spousal support, and domestic violence issues. She adeptly represents
clients in trials and plenary hearings, motion hearings, mediations, four-way settlement
conferences, Intensive Settlement Conferences, Case Management Conferences and
post judgement negotiations.

Leveraging her personal experience from a blended family, Kristi is able to empathize
with and navigate the, often emotional, complexities faced by clients. She skillfully
blends compassion with strong advocacy to meet her clients’ individual goals, attuned to
the distinct challenges each case presents.

Kristi earned her B.S., cum laude, from Ramapo College and her J.D., magna cum
laude, from Pace University’s Elisabeth Haub School of Law, where she was a member
of the Pace International Law Review.

Prior to joining HDRB&B, Kristi practiced family law at Harwood Lloyd LLC. Before going
into private practice, she served as a Judicial Intern to the Honorable Peter J.
Melchionne, P.J.F.P. (Ret.) and the Honorable Lisa A. Firko, J.S.C. at the Bergen County
Superior Court, Chancery Division, Family Part. Kristi subsequently served as a Judicial
Law Clerk to the Honorable Lisa A. Firko, J.A.D. in the Appellate Division.

An active member of several bar associations, including the Bergen County Bar
Association and the New Jersey State Bar Association, Kristi’s dedication to the legal
community is further evidenced by her role on the Ramapo College Foundation Board of
Governors, where she contributes to the college’s strategic objectives.

An active community leader, Kristi co-chairs the Bergen County Non-Dissolution
Settlement Program, established to address a backlog of over 100 “aging” cases in the
Family Division, helping parties with children who were never married to resolve
disputes amicably. The program aims to mitigate delays caused by the pandemic and
judicial shortages, facilitating swift resolutions for litigants affected by prolonged case
durations.
