Maralee Sanders is an associate in the firm’s Employment Law Group, providing advice and counseling to both employers and individuals.  Maralee is regularly involved in the negotiation of employment and separation agreements, including addressing issues such as executive compensation, restrictive covenants, and other terms of employment.  She provides advice to employers on federal and state harassment and discrimination laws, the Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA), the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), wage and hour laws, proper classification of employees and independent contractors, hiring and firing, and performance management.  In addition, Maralee drafts comprehensive policy and practices handbooks and ensures that they are in compliance with federal and state law.  She is also involved in training management and non-management employees on topics including the prevention of harassment and discrimination, wage and hour law compliance, workplace violence and bullying, and ADA and FMLA laws.  Maralee has experience conducting internal investigations of discrimination complaints and other reports of workplace misconduct.

Prior to joining HDRBB, Maralee worked at Goldberg Segalla, representing employers in workers’ compensation matters throughout New Jersey.
